Synopsis

On the crystal world of Microcanis, everything is measured in microns. Pupic — the youngest Protophore of his colony — sneaks past the elders and slips into the deep caverns, where refracted light bends around forgotten machines. There he finds it: a Portal seed, humming softly, older than any story his people still tell. Curiosity is a small word for what happens next.
